Caramelized Shrimp (Tom Rim)
1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
½ tbsp. low sodium soy sauce
1 tsp. fish sauce
1 tsp. apple cider vinegar
½ tbsp. brown sugar
½ tbsp. maple syrup
1 tbsp. sesame oil or avocado oil
1 tbsp. minced garlic
½ tsp. black pepper
In non-stick pan heat up oil to medium heat then add garlic and cook until slightly brown. Add fish sauce, brown sugar, maple syrup, vinegar and black pepper mix evenly and cook sauce for 1 minute before adding shrimp. Cook shrimp for 3-5 minutes until done and sauce thickens.
